Thanks for connecting with me on the WebQuest site. Have you visited http://tutormentor.blogspot.com to see how I'm using maps to connect people with tutor/mentor programs in different parts of Chicago? We held a conference at the Field Museum last Friday. You can read some of the comments at http://tutormentorconnection.ning.com
Are you connected with the folks at the Consortium on Chicago School Research? One of our volunteers, Amy Proger works there. I'd like to learn more about how you've used web quests, and talk of ways student interns might develop these for the Tutor/Mentor Connection.
The people we aim to educate are volunteers, donors, business leaders and policy makers. If they don't do more, or are not more strategic, than what they do now, most of the kids in inner city neighborhoods will still be attending poor schools 50 years from now.
If you'd like to meet some time, let me know. We're at 800 W. Huron.
